Reedsville Area Community Parks & Facilities
Village Parks
Bubolz Park
At this park, baseball takes center stage with many t-ball, baseball, and softball games and practices held here. Playground equipment, an open shelter, concession stand, and indoor bathrooms surround the ball diamond. Located north on North Third Street right off of Hwy 10.
Firefighter’s Park
Located in the heart of the Village on Park Street, this park is the location for the annual Firefighter’s Picnic and many other celebrations throughout the year. With two different groupings of playground equipment the park includes indoor bathrooms, tennis courts, a basketball court, a picnic shelter and grills, and indoor/outdoor pavilion.
American Legion Gosz-Novak Post 199 Memorial Park
This park is a prized memorial to those who have served in our area. Featuring a T-33A United States Air Force military aircraft that has been on loan since 1967 from the National Museum of United States Air Force, this park is located on Manitowoc Street across the street from St. John’s – St. James Church.
Mud Creek Nature Trail
The nature trail begins on Manitowoc Street with the Mud Creek Nature Trailhead. The trailhead features wood sculptures from a local carver, native plants and flower beds, and a small meeting pavilion. The trail continues to follow Mud Creek over a bridge and through a woodland area. The trail exits at the Reedsville Elementary School. Lots of birds and wildlife call this area home and nature lovers can walk or bike the trail. Mud Creek was the original name of the Village of Reedsville until 1894 when it was changed to Reedsville in honor of the town president Judge Reed.
