Welcome from the Reedsville Chief of Police

As the Chief of the Village of Reedsville Police Department, I would like to extend to you a very warm "welcome to our Village." All counties, cities, towns and villages are governed by a set of statues and laws. Additional laws unique to communities are adopted as ordinances. The Village of Reedsville has an extensive Village Code and several of the unique ordinances most often encountered can be found in detail in the Resident Handbook.

The Village of Reedsville is comprised of two officers who work random schedules. Should you have an emergency, dial “911.” For all non-emergency assistance, contact the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department at 683-4201. If there is a Village Officer on duty the request will be relayed to them; if not, a Sheriff’s Deputy will meet with you.

We are here to serve you and help maintain a quality of life that can be shared and enjoyed by all Village residents. We urge you to become an involved citizen and report suspicious or unusual activities. If you have any questions about specific activities that you think may have an affect on you please leave a message with the Village Clerk and an Officer will meet with you.
